I hold my fist up, as if I am a part of the Black Revolution
this is a public televised series of my thoughts written down on paper
no, I am not just one person, I am many
no, I do not have multiple personalities, but I do retain the ability to constantly change
my moods are not consistant
my thoughts are interchangeable
I am always talking because I find a lot of things to say
collective
flashy
distinctive
different
eccentric
characterized, but never catogorized
some ask, who is she?
some refer to her as if she is my "alter-ego"
I never needed another side to me to define who I really was, for I am just me
Essence is the reputation of an artist who refuses to be like her peers
she is the essence of love
she is the essence of hate
she is the essence of inspiration
she is the essence of the truth
she is the essence of her soul
she is the essence of those old stories told
she is the essence of the thinker
she is the essence of the believer....
she is....Essence
Franklin, brought through the reign of the Queen of Soul
never anything like the ordinary
proud and dominant, she commands the attention of those who grace their eyes on her
call her whatever you please, but understand that she is not some weakling
the fire within her can burn any being at the highest temperature
the love within her can heal any open wound or pain
for she is nothing like the person breathing life within her, she is only just a name
Essence Franklin is the poetry the speaks within
allowing God to say whatever he may want through a pen and a pad
therefore, no one should ask who is Essence Franklin......

Poetic Expression
Welcome to Poetic Expression
Poetic Expression: the Meaning of the Inward Emotion
Poetic Expression is a form of expressing personal feelings, thought provoking issues, and emotions that linger within the souls, minds, and hearts of different individuals. How you choose to express yourself is clearly up to you. If you want to write it out, speak dramatically, or even cry, let those emotions turn into inspiration for those around and the generations to come.
